Grammar Spin

Think fast. Type faster. Spin to survive.

Grammar Spin is a frantic, kinetic word puzzle that takes the analytical deduction of games like Wordle or Scrubble and slams it into a high-speed arcade timer.

You are given a cross of four letters. Your goal? Type as many words as possible that start with the Left letter and end with the Right letter before the clock hits zero.

The catch? When you get stuck, you slam the Spacebar to spin the entire board 90 degrees, instantly changing your starting and ending letters to reveal new possibilities.

🧠 Features

  • Frantic Flow-State Gameplay: Type fast to survive. The game automatically validates your words against a massive 10,000+ word dictionary instantly.
  •  Fair Generation: Built with words, meaning the game will never generate an impossible board. There is always a way out if you spin strategically.
  • Global Leaderboards: Fight for the top spot across four distinct difficulty modes (4, 5, 6, and 7-letter boards). Your best scores are tracked locally and pitted against the world.

⌨️ Controls

  • Keyboard: Type your words.
  • Spacebar / Left & Right Arrows: Spin the cross 90 degrees to change your letters.
  • Backspace / Clear: Fix your typos fast.

This is quite the idea, sadly, I kinda stink at word games, so take my judgement lightly.

I like the idea and execution, though it isn't quite clear what to do when you just start playing.

Again, my judgement isn't very valid cause I couldn't even get 1 point... that's my bad. lol. 😭

I do like the visuals and audio, it all fits together well. It'd be nice if the timer were a bit more visible, and how many letters required were made clearer.

Overall, well made! Ggs!

Score (0 being crap & 100 being triple A)

0 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . | . 50 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 100

                            48

Ok! Though i believe that the how to play button explain everything good!
